Howdy Friends. This is my bio. It’s written in first person. I know artist bio’s are usually written in third person, but c’mon, we all know it’s the artist writing the bio anyway. So here we go. I became 5 years old and started playing the piano a lot. It came easy and I had no idea why and it scared me and I kept playing. I grew up on peanut butter and jelly, “Weird Al” Yankovic, They Might Be Giants, and spaghetti.

From there, I was in a band called the Morbid Chicken Puppies (later The Flood) from 8th Grade alllll the way to age 24 and a half!!! That’s where and when I learned how to play, listen to, write, live with, and enjoy music. Since then, I’ve recorded a solo album titled “from new jersey,” and have played throughout New York City and New Jersey. I’m currently on tour playing accordion and other odd things with a wonderful band called Dan Zanes and Friends. Check it out - www.danzanes.com

I’ve also been playing with Tim McBride and the Big Red Barn, The Defibulators, and the Chris Rodgers Band. As I write this, I'm also mentally preparing to record an album this winter.
